The match with BERLIN Recycling Volleys could become the 200th in Zenit KAZAN for middle blocker Artem Volvich. He will be the 12th player in club history to reach this milestone. At the end of last week, Volvich extended his contract with the Tatarstan club until the end of the 2021/22 season.

BERLIN Recycling Volleys have lost two of their last three matches and dropped to 3rd place in the Bundesliga standings. The team from Kazan in December-January suffered a terrible streak of seven defeats in eight matches and now occupies the third position in the Russian Superleague.
