TRENTINO ITAS

1. This is the fourth away game to the Czech Republic for Trentino Volley, a nation that will always hold a special place in the Club's history. Since, Trentino Volley won its first Champions League, beating Thessaloniki 3-1 in the final, at the O2 Arena in Prague on April 5th, 2009. After that triumph, the Trentino club returned to the Czech Republic two more times, always to face Ceske Budejovice on their court, winning 3-1 on January 13th, 2010 and 3-2 on February 19th, 2022 in group stage matches of the respective editions.
2. Setter Oreste Cavuto, who got an abdominal injury in the previous week will be missing for Trentino

3. It will be a special match for Donovan Džavoronok, who will play a CEV Champions League match in his home country for the first time and will do so wearing the Trentino Volley jersey.
4. Trentino Itas leads the Pool D rankings together with Groupa Azoty Kedzierzyn-Kozle with one victory; the direct match between the two teams (remake of the competition finals of the last two editions) will be played in two weeks in Trento.
Angelo Lorenzetti (Trentino Itas Head Coach): "Our season opener in the CEV Champions League was a winning one and quite easy, but we know that from now on it will not always be like that because we will play three out of the remaining five matches of group D away, where it is never easy to pick up points and victories. Wednesday's game in the Czech Republic is important because Karlovarsko has already shown in the previous week in Poland that it is an uncomfortable opponent and I am sure they will play even better as they will have home court advantage. Our level of attention and determination will therefore have to be very high”.
