“First of all, it's important victory, because we won a match against a team who started very well this game. The first set, beyond our demerits, they were really good. They know how to play like this: they serve well and defend a lot. My girls were good and I'm happy because I'm starting to see a team that I like. It was great to see the team play like that."

Massimo Barbolini
head coach of Savino Del Bene Scandicci

“We are first in the group and we deserved it. We have worked hard these weeks. Both yesterday and today were tough matches, but we managed to do that little bit more that allowed us to win. The bubble is tough but it is the best thing for the moment. We will rest tonight, ready to return to the court tomorrow”

Elena Pietrini
outside spiker Savino Del Bene Scandicci:

"We started very well in the first set and were able to maintain our initial level in block defense. In the attack we could no longer show our qualities, but we saw how much experience and quality was on the other side of the net. We learn a lot from games like this and I'm very happy with the combative performance of my team, we've shown character and we're looking forward to the next game tomorrow. "

Felix Koslowski
head coach of SSC Palmberg SCHWERIN

"There was a lot of fighting, a lot of defence. We started well and it was very hard to control Scandicci as they started showing their qualities. We have to play high level volleyball again tomorrow in order to have a chance against Busto."
