    - Vero Volley Monza needs to win to hope to qualify for the 4th finals as one of the three best second of the five pools of CEV Champions League.


    - Monza already beat Salo in the third match of the pool B, 3-0. The MVP was Alessia Gennari (6 points, 1 block and the 63% in attack).


    - Compared to the match played in Italy on 21th december 2021, Monza has strengthened with the arrivals of the middle blocker Dana Rettke.

    - Monza will play the 26th game in European Cups (10 in Challenge Cup, 10 in Cev Cup and 6 in Champions League).


    - In italian Championship Monza beat Scandicci 3-0 last saturday, but stop his 11 wins in a row against Novara 3-1 last wednesday.

    "We are happy about the result and the performance done against Scandicci. We are leading the standing in Italy, but there are some many teams that have matches to recover. We want to continue to push, starting from the match against a good team as Salo. Our focus is to win in Finland and then we will wait the other results to know if we'll be part of the quarter finals".

    "At first I have to say congratulations to LP SALO. They played without problems and fear. They tried to make us in bad condition with their service. They have really good serves. We knew that. The first and the third set were more or less the same. We suffered particularly half part of those sets and we must learn from this match that we cannot put down the focus against anyone. Our target was to win today with the best score, because we are waiting what happens in the other part of Europe."
